FERRY FLIGHT FROM PORTUGAL TO AUSTRALIA

FERRY FLIGHT - This was the plan!

See our news page for latest updates.

Nov 2007 - The Ferry Flight has been postponed. We will update this space when news comes to hand.

Once the engine(s) are repaired and the European winter has passed we will be able to readdress the Ferry Flight plans.

The ferry trip was anticipated to cost in excess of $150,000 (the price of hard-to-get avgas  in some places could be $2.50/litre, and the Cat burns 400 litres/hour).

Our recent setback will naturally to add to this cost. If you can help or know of people who can help, please go to our 'How to help' page for details.

Seia, Ajaccio, Naples, Brindisi, Cyprus, Bahrain, Muscat, Karachi, Bombay, Calcutta, Bangkok, Singapore, Dili, Darwin, Cairns, Brisbane, Bankstown.

An Alternative route would be
